Stairlift and Mobility Scooter Recycling News

Naidex – why our concept was so loved!

Last week we attended the Naidex exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham. As a new set up we weren’t quite sure how it would go but we were pleasantly surprised to say, it went down a storm. Not only with consumers but with councils, local authorities and healthcare practitioners.

What we have to present is quite a new concept to the market, and it’s much needed. There aren’t many companies out there that offer recycling of old mobility products such as stairlifts (chairlifts) and scooters but, that also collect them for free and recycle/recondition to sell back to those in the community at a lower price than a new one.

On top of this, the money we receive from our partnered stairlift company for the recycled goods is split across our board of charities (http://stairliftrecycling.co.uk/charities-we-support/)

Here are a few images of our stand and time at Naidex.

If you wish to donate a stairlift or a mobility scooter then please click on the correct button, fill in your details and one of our installation partners will be in contact to organise removal. The mobility scooter or stairlift will then be reconditioned and placed in stock ready for purchase by someone in the community who needs it. Our service is UK wide and removal will normally happen within 10 days of you contacting us.

Did you know, we’re also on Twitter. If you want to discuss the above or keep up to date with what’s happening at Stairliftrecycling.co.uk, follow us @StairliftREC.

Why donate your stairlift or mobility scooter?

Whether you’re looking to replace an existing stairtlift or mobility scooter, or get rid of one for good, there are many benefits to donating your old ones through us.

By donating your old stairlifts and mobility scooters through us, we can help raise vital funds, equally, for our board of seven charities which include the British Heart Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis, Arthritis Care, Stroke Association, Cancer Research UK, Sue Ryder, Alzheimer’s Society and ReverseRet. These charities offer incredible support and care for those who may require the use of mobility equipment, and are therefore causes close to our hearts.

Recycling mobility scooters and stairlifts also saves the environment from unnecessary waste. We are partnered with large stairlift reconditioners and installers who re-use the parts in brand new or recondition equipment. And the only time we would charge you is if the stairlift is more than 7 years old – this would be £95 for the removal.

Reconditioned stairlifts and mobility scooters are as good as new and are half the price or less than purchasing them brand new. So by recycling your stairlift or mobility scooter with us you are helping someone in the community and, if you are looking to purchase a stairlift or mobility scooter, just click here, fill the form in and we will be happy to provide a quote to you.
