Stairlift Recycling Mobility Scooter Recycling

Our Stairlift Recycling Mobility Scooter Recycling Scheme operates across virtually all the UK (other than North Scotland, mid-Wales, Cornwall and Devon) as we are partnered with large stairlift (sometimes called chairlift) reconditioners and installers.  We provide a valuable service to the community and the environment.  We remove, recondition and recycle unwanted stairlifts and mobility scooters. In most cases free of charge.  The only times we would charge is if a straight stairlift is more than 7 years old and a curved stairlift is more than 3 years old. Here we would charge £95 plus VAT for the curved stairlift (chairlift) removal and £110 plus VAT for the straight stairlift removal.

We support the COT Code of Ethics regarding sustainability.  Further, we fully support the article in January 2015’s OTNews.

Wherever possible we will recondition and refurbish the stairlifts and mobility scooters.  We then make them available for purchase to the general public.  The reconditioned and refurbished stairlifts and mobility scooters are as good as new.  They are generally half the price or less than purchasing them brand new.  If you have an unwanted stairlift, by recycling your stairlift or mobility scooter with us you are helping someone in the community.

Second hand stairlifts and second hand mobility scooters

If you are looking to purchase a second hand stairlift or second hand mobility scooter, just click on the correct button, fill the form in and we will be happy to provide a quote to you.  Remember that, although they are second hand, they look as good as new and come with a 12 month warranty! The Stairlift Recycling Mobility Scooter Recycling Scheme is that easy to participate in!  It’s great to help the environment and the community selling great used stairlifts and used mobility scooters!

For stairlifts or mobility scooters that are not able to be reconditioned we will place re-usable parts into stock.  We then make these parts available for repairs.  This provides an excellent service to the community as many of the stairlifts or mobility scooters.  The Stairlift Recycling Mobility Scooter Recycling scheme helps the market in providing parts for obsolete stairlifts and mobility scooters.  We will keep the price of the parts at an affordable level for all.

On top of this, for every stairlift or mobility scooter donated, www.stairliftrecycling.co.uk will make a cash donation to our panel of charities on an equal share basis:

Stairlifts

We remove, recondition, refurbish, recycle, sell, service and maintain all makes of curved or straight stairlifts.  This includes Acorn, Stannah, Platinum, Minivator, Handicare, Brooks plus many others.  If you want to buy a stairlift fill out the relevant form. We’ll provide a quotation after a free survey by one of our engineers.

Mobility Scooters

Most of the mobility scooters that are donated will be suitable for refurbishment.  Those that aren’t will be broken into parts and a donation to the charities which will be agreed after assessment.  This is a good ecological use of the unwanted stair lift or chair lift.

We collect, recondition, refurbish, recycle, sell, service and maintain all makes of mobility scooter.  This includes Shoprider, Freerider, Drive and Pride Mobility Scooters amongst others.  If you want to buy a mobility scooter fill out the relevant form. We’ll be happy to provide a quotation which will be about half the price of a brand new scooter but still have a 12 month warranty from us.

Why Use a Reconditioned Stairlift or Mobility Scooter?

Our reconditioned and recycled stairlifts and mobility scooters are as good as new.  They all come with a 12 month warranty despite being half price or less than buying new.  On top of this, if you buy our reconditioned products you are maintaining a virtuous circle for the environment and the community.  Re-using the parts protects the environment and any parts that can’t be used are disposed of in a responsible way.  The Stairlift Recycling Mobility Scooter Recycling Scheme is beneficial for everyone. Using a high quality second hand stairlift or second hand mobility scooter helps the environment and the community.
